The focus of this session will be on drawing spring flowers such as the crocus and the camas lily. We will paint different views of these flowers as well as put them in a meadow setting. Bring the supplies as listed in the link below but I would also suggest that you make sure you have a violet pigment in your set or in a tube as we will using violet, yellow and green (and many other colours to create variations of the aforementioned colours). A violet I like to work with is Winsor Violet by Winsor and Newton paints but there are lots of others that are good.

Hi, Wendy. I just read about your Monday watercolour sessions on Capital Daily and are wondering about how to sign up. When I try to register it goes straight to PayPal for payment. is that the correct way of signing up – do I pay first?
